Contractor Terms & Conditions – Blueflame Plumber

These Contractor Terms & Conditions govern the working relationship between Blueflame Plumber and any independent contractors, subcontractors, or service providers (“Contractors”) engaged to perform services on behalf of Blueflame Plumber.

By accepting work from Blueflame Plumber, the Contractor agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions.

Independent Contractor Status

  • Contractors are engaged as independent contractors and not as employees, partners, or agents of Blueflame Plumber.

  • Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, and permits required to perform plumbing or related services.

Scope of Work

  • Contractors must perform services as agreed for each assigned job and in accordance with industry standards and applicable laws.

  • All work must be completed in a professional, safe, and timely manner.

Licensing & Compliance

  • Contractors must hold valid licenses, certifications, and qualifications required by law.

  • Contractors are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety requirements.

Insurance & Liability

  • Contractors must maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including public liability insurance, where required.

  • Blueflame Plumber is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage caused by the Contractor’s actions, negligence, or failure to comply with safety standards.

Tools & Equipment

  • Contractors are responsible for providing their own tools, equipment, and materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • All equipment must be safe, well-maintained, and suitable for the work being performed.

Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.

  • Contractors are responsible for invoicing accurately and on time.

  • Blueflame Plumber reserves the right to withhold payment for incomplete, unsatisfactory, or non-compliant work.

Confidentiality

  • Contractors must keep all customer information, pricing, and business-related details confidential.

  • Confidential information must not be shared with third parties without written consent from Blueflame Plumber.

Conduct & Professionalism

  • Contractors must behave professionally and respectfully when dealing with customers and staff.
  • Any misconduct, unsafe behavior, or damage to property may result in immediate termination of the contractor relationship.

Termination

  • Blueflame Plumber reserves the right to terminate the contractor relationship at any time if these terms are breached.

  • Contractors may also end the relationship by providing reasonable notice.

Changes to Contractor Terms

  • Blueflame Plumber may update or modify these Contractor Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • Updated terms will be made available on our website.
